Pressure mounting to provide face-to-face activity

The decisions to provide face-to-face (F2F) activity have been made without the union input. While we are waiting for the University's response on the UCU 5 tests, we are very keen to encourage all members to get actively involved in thinking and formulating the branch's approach based on the excellent Independent SAGE report, USS Brief and central UCU arguments. Formal claim for collective agreement: policy for the recording of teaching and learning activities

In the absence of responses and without a frame for negotiations before the start of the new academic year, and after consultation with the Branch Committee and UCU, we are formally lodging a formal claim for a collective agreement on a policy for the recording of teaching and learning activities. We look forward to a speedy response from HR.
